Manufactured in Finland, imported by Odin Arms, this is a fine heavy barreled specimen of Finland’s home grown descendant of the world famous Kalashnikov family of firearms, specifically Finland’s answer to the Soviet RPK. The forearm is checkered and ventilated plastic. The pistol grip and handguard are a one piece skeleton “Dragunov” pattern with raised cheekpiece and a rubber buttpad. Minus the scope, this 78/83 is very close in configuration to a hero gun featured prominently in the 1985 Schwarzenegger action classic Commando. This rifle comes as you see here: with the Leupold scope, four magazines, and the bayonet. The combo is listed as a package, and cannot be split up.
